My Beef with Illegal Aliens

I have a major conflict with the huge numbers of mostly Mexican immigrants who have gathered in enclaves in large and small cities all over America.

By and large, they are nice enough people.  But we all know that "nice" has nothing to do with "legal".

Maybe my conflict with illegal aliens is similar to yours, and maybe not: let's see.

Citizens are made one of three ways: being natural-born on U.S. sovereign territory, becoming naturalized according to our naturalization laws, and by amnesty.  I disapprove of the amnesty route, but it was legally promulgated in the eighties, and now we're stuck with it.  But we don't have get conned into the same mistake twice!

The mere fact that it was done once is bad enough, but to even think about extending amnesty to many millions more of illegal aliens is to invite the suicide of the American culture as we have known it.

I don't know about you, but I put a lot of stock in the origins of our nation, just as I suspect that most people around the world put stock in their origins.  There's nothing wrong with that.

America has its origins, and we all ought to be proud of our past.  I feel sorry for you if you do not feel deep pride in the fact that our nation was founded on principals that are far more egalitarian than most other nations.

What about all these illegal aliens among us?  Are they not proud of their own countries and origins?  They had little freedom in their homeland...maybe just freedom from prosperity.

Mexico has become little more than a narcomafia, from the top to the bottom.  There is no fixing it, except for revolution.

Instead of offering work programs here, our government ought to be building a super border between Mexico and America, and advocating the demise of the Mexican government.  It needs to be buried now, and replaced with
a real democratic republic.

Little gets done in Mexico without bribery or far more serious crimes, and now our representatives are urging us to allow up to 66 million (a very conservative estimate) new Mexican-American "citizens" from the land of bribery over the next 20 years.  Are they stupid...or just hard-up for votes?

Our representatives ought to be hammering out the right laws...the ones that criminalize the hiring of illegal aliens, not the illegal aliens themselves.

Our representatives often try to make government very complicated.  That way, we're more likely to just leave it to them.  Well, it's not all that complicated.

Truth is simple.  Lies are what're complicated.  Our nation  is already flooded with the drugs brought in by Mexican narcomafiosos.  What if we could cut that flood by half?
Criminalizing the hiring of illegal aliens would at least do that much.  Would they look for another route?  Yes, and we
can plug it, too!

I know that our friends in the other party want to save their skins by breaking the law first (amnesty), then amending the broken law to suit the law-breakers (illegal aliens).  All the democrats see is a rising tide of illegal immigrants... basically uneducated, needy, and accustomed to bribery with other peoples' money...ideal democrats, in other words, just waiting to vote themselves an easy life if just given the chance!
